Per , the Catalan giants have reportedly informed the attacker he doesn't fit into the plans of new manager Hansi Flick and are considering selling him permanently this summer. Fati had moved to the Premier League last season as he joined Brighton on loan. The move, however, turned out to be a disaster as he was plagued with multiple injuries in his maiden campaign in England. He appeared in 30 matches across all competitions where he clocked just 1,058 minutes on the pitch.

The 21-year-old reportedly had a chat with Barcelona sporting director Deco recently who informed him that the club are planning to send him out on yet another loan deal or permanently sell him. The player currently has an active contract with the club which is valid until 2027.
