The northern lights, also known as the aurora borealis, appeared in the sky on Friday night across the world as a powerful solar storm struck the earth for the first time in over two decades. As the sky turned purple creating a stunning visual, Beckham and Earps took individual snaps and posted them on social media.

The two football stars uploaded their respective snaps as Instagram stories. While Earps wrote, "Northern lights from Manny", Beckham captioned his story by writing, "Wow, no filter".
